Anita Lois Reiner

Anita Norman Reiner, 89, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother passed away on December 25, 2022. Anita entered this world on July 9, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky born to Sol Norman and Bertha Avner Norman. Anita is survived by her son, Steven Reiner, daughter in law Cindy Reiner, son Howard Reiner; daughter in law Abigail Reiner; five grandchildren, Jason Reiner and wife, Amy; Ashley Reiner, and husband, Nicholas; Scott Reiner, and wife, Amy; Brittany Reiner, and partner, Matthew Souza; Melissa Reiner Lepow, and husband, Philip Lepow. Anita is also survived by four great grandchildren: Skylar, Eli, Reese, and David. Anita had a special relationship with her two sons, each of her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. Anita had two nieces she was very fond of: Audrey Farkas Melasky her two children, Melanie and Mark and niece, Babette Farkas and her two children Heather and Louis. Anita was also very fond of her step grandson Nicholas Robbins. Anita was active in her life until her passing. The proverbial grass could not grow under her feet. She enjoyed family events the most, however she never passed up shopping or out to a dinner or brunch with family or friends. Anita was a beautiful woman and believed you should always look your best regardless of where you are. Anita had several friends that she shared special moments with including Maybel, Claudia, Miriam, and Andi. Anita always remembered family and friends birthdays by stocking up on birthday and greeting cards. The greeting cards had to fit the person and the occasion. More often than not, the card would have no open space as she would write special notes reminding of how special she thought you were.
