Dana Leroy Feaster

Dana Leroy Feaster passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 72, a devoted and beloved husband, stepfather, brother, and friend. Dana was born to Otis and Patricia (Ferguson) Feaster on October 29, 1952, in Lafayette, Indiana. His formative years were spent in Americus, Indiana. Dana attended one year at Purdue University then enlisted in the United States Air Force to serve his country during the Vietnam War serving 5 years and rose to Sergeant before earning a honorable discharge. He was awarded a certificate of merit in recognition of outstanding contribution and service to the mission of Strategic Air Command. Dana went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University, he furthered his education with a Master of Business Degree from Southern Georgia University. Dana enjoyed a distinguished career as a Purchasing Manager, recognized as a Lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager with the National Association of Purchasing Management Inc. He was a proud life member of the Purdue Alumni Association. His expertise and dedication were foundational to his work, and he proudly retired after many years in the industry. He attained the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. His spirit of service continued, and he carried the values of hard work, loyalty and compassion throughout his life. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with Scottish Rite and a proud member of Battleground Lodge #313 of Battleground, Indiana. Dana was a former Child Advocate for Houston and made numerous international mission trips with the United Methodist Church Southeastern Jurisdiction. He was proud member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG), where he received the prestigious 2006 Eagle Award from Houston Area #1 HOG. He was a certified Scuba diver and instructor. The last nine years he was unable to enjoy his most loved activities riding his Harley, scuba diving, and playing golf. He was a generous and compassionate man to the very end. He will be remembered fondly for his adventurous spirit, unwavering commitment to his family, and passionate dedication to the community. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Dana is survived by his devoted wife of 17 years, Rochelle (Goble) Feaster: stepsons, David Cangany and Daniel Cangany, and his beloved pets Lilly and Rudy. He is survived by siblings: brother Joe (Marlene) Wright, sister Pam (Bobbie) Reagan, and brother Richard Feaster, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Dana was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Patricia Feaster and sister Karen Hopp. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in his memory to an organization that honors his legacy such as Tunnels 2 Towers. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the VFW Post 9182, 6206 George Bush Dr., Katy, Texas 77493.
