Christopher Michael Gonzales, 41, of Austin, Texas, passed away on July 17, 2026. Born on October 4, 1984, in Austin, Christopher spent his life being surrounded by family and leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. Christopher was a dedicated professional who spent the last eight years working in various roles at Apple. His passion for technology and innovation was evident not only in his career but also in his academic pursuits. While working full-time, he diligently worked toward earning a degree in computer sciences and had set his sights on completing a master's degree in data science. He had recently earned a place on the College of Business and Information Technology Dean's List. His drive and determination were an inspiration to those around him. Above all else, Christopher cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Rebecca and their two daughters, Maya and Ella, who were the light of his life. He found immense joy in taking his daughters to the movies and sharing special moments with them. Christopher also delighted in taking Rebecca to plays, traveling, trying new restaurants together, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. He is also survived by his mother Linda; brother Adam and niece Ashlyn; brother Nicolaus and sister-in-law Teresa; and many others who held him dear. Christopher was predeceased by his father Danny, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life. Christopher's hobbies reflected his vibrant personality and creative spirit. He loved playing video games, a pastime that allowed him to unwind and connect with others. His passion for creating things with his 3D printer showcased his ingenuity and love for exploring new technologies. He loved reading and collecting books, as well as solving puzzles and crosswords. His family and friends will always remember his encyclopedic knowledge of obscure trivia facts. Those who knew Christopher remember him as funny, smart, caring, charismatic, and an overall personality larger than life. His humor could brighten any room, and his warmth made everyone feel welcome. He had a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life, leaving behind countless cherished memories.
