Brenda Gay Robinson

Brenda Gay Robinson, age 79, passed away August 28th, 2022, in Sugar Land, Texas. She was born on January 10th, 1943 in Brunswick, Georgia to Colon and Peggy Hinson. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Robinson for 58 years, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Robinson, her sister Phyllis King and brother-in-law Gene King, and her brother John Beatty. She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Robinson, brother-in-law Ron Robinson and Bruni Robinson, daughter, Dawn Forman and her four children, Bair, Baxter, Bailey and Blaze. Scott’s (of blessed memory) four children, J.Robert (and great-grandson Aidan), Scottie, Tanner (great-grandson Tristin), and Dorie. As well as her niece Kristen King and her children, nephew Brian King, wife Amy and their children and nephew Gary Beatty. Her family moved to California in the mid 50’s and she graduated from Cal High of Whittier in 1960 where she competed on the synchronized swimming team. She went on to study nursing, became a Lamaze instructor and married Bob in 1964. Eventually they made their way to Covington Woods in Sugar Land, Texas in 1976 where she met a wealth of friends, enjoyed family, swim meets, Girl Scouts and a wonderful community. When Bob’s job began placing him all over the world, they would plan travel and meet up in many wonderful locations to sightsee and visit global monuments. They shared many wonderful travels together. She was a member of the National Exchange Club of Sugar Land and enjoyed many roles, served as District President, a Volunteer Field Representative, sponsoring events, running for National President, many programs, Champions Kids Camp and in 2018 she was inducted into the Court of Honor, the highest and most lasting recognition an Exchangite can receive.
